There is tub-shaped object in the south chapel of this church, which may be the old font from the original 12th-century church here; it is monolithic and of a tapering octagonal shape; it is a crude work and the surface of the stone is very eroded; at a later date, perhaps in the 16th century, if not later, a set of symbols have been incised on its sides: a Latin tréflée cross, blank shields... [NB: the tentative identification of this object as a font has been made without on-site access; it is also possible that it may have been originally a well-head -- to be commpleted on site]. [cf. Index entry for Preyssac No. 2 for the other font listed in this church].
