There are two fonts [cf. infra] in this church: a modern polygonal font decorated with mouldings and provided with a dome cover, located in a niche of the north wall; and an oval basin decorated with a torus-scotia at the upper rim, and a shallow-carved ribbed pattern on the sides, taised on a square pedestal, located against one of the pillars of the arcade between the two naves; the latter is now used as holy-water stoup, but we do not know what its original function was. [NB: a chapel dedicated to St-Sernin existed here at an early time, but it is not clear from the sources whether it was the predecessor of the present church or a separate one].
