The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 10 April March 2021] notes: "iglesia dedicada a San Saturnino y es románica, del siglo XII [...] Baptismal font of large dimensions consisting of a roughly hemispheric basin decorated with convex rib pattern on the outside and concave ribbed pattern on the inner well; raised on a very short round base; the upper rim retains a metal staple that would have served as anchoring for the old font cover and, on the opposite side, is a damaged area that could have had another anchoring part. The basin has a centre drain hole.
