A fragment of a granite object claimed to be part of the original baptismal font in which São Rosendo was baptised in the 10th century. It is now displayed in a glass cage at the church of São Miguel [aka São Rosendo] in Couto. The Junta de São Miguel do Couto's web site [http://jf-coutosaomiguel.pt/conteudos/pt/13/Hist%C3%B3ria] [accessed 30 April 2013] notes: in the church of S. Miguel do Couto remains the old baptismal font, at least part of it; there is an altar with a Renaissance retable [...] and on the floor below, behind the glass, is what remains of the famous font, a fragment of a monolithic quadrangular basin made of local granite [="nesta Igreja de S.Miguel do Couto ainda se encontram a pia do seu baptismo, ou pelo menos, parte dela. O interior da Igreja revela um altar com retábulo em talha renascentista, abrigando, em posição central, a imagem do santo e, assente no pavimento, uma moldura de talha que deixa ver, atrás do vidro, aquilo que resta da famosa pia; trata-se de uma caixa quadrangular, escavada num só bloco, em granito da região."]. [NB: if not a font, could it be a coffin or ossuary?] [NB: Rosendo de Celanova, Rosendo Guterres or Rudesindus, founder and abbot of the Monastery of San Salvador de Celanova, bishop of Dume and administrator at the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela].
