Baptismal font in coarse granite, consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a short cylindrical base; the workmanship is on the crude side, the decoration consists of two round mouldings around the upper basin side, followed down by several large trapezoidal panels, and another pair of mouldings near the connexion with the base; the base itself is also moulded. There is a round and flat wooden cover on it; it apopears modern; there is a large patch on the upper side of the basin that may have housed the lock for an earlier cover hasp. [cf. Index entry for Cha No. 1 for a font or object outside the church]
