Additional Comments: altered stoup: the present base is modern and unmatched
Font Notes:
Hexagonal basin with moulded tapering sides, a worn shield on the southeast side; the west side is either unfinished or was cut off obviously to fit the object directly against a wall or pillar; it appears to me made of a dark limestone; it is raised on a modern square pedestal base with chamfered angles. Like the other object standing next to it, to the south side [cf. Index entry for Plouezec No.1], the original function of this object is uncertain, although, given some of its characteristics, a stoup rather than a font.
