Large irregular oblong-shaped basin made of granite; mounted against the west corner of the south porch, with a trefoiled opening in the wall at the back. There are a number of related objects inside the church, some of which may be 16th-century; there are several wall-mounted stoups with various decorations; two of the octagonal stoups at the west end should be noted: the one on the south side looks like a typical pedestal stoup of the area but the basin well has a drain hole; the one on the north side is somewaht similar in general shape, but does not have a drain; instead, it has several anchorings at the upper rim for a cover; was it a font? was it used as a font?
