Baptismal font of coarse granit consisting of a polygonal basin with moulded sides; it appears to be heptagonal now, but a good part of the upper side has been reconstructed in cement, so its shape could have been hexagonal or heptagonal originally; one side is badly damaged and shows the metal staple of the old cover in it; the inner well of the basin is rather shallow and has no drain it is raised on a polygonal pedestal base and a square lower base with the top corners chamfered. There is no font cover present now but the hardware evidence points to an earlier one. This object could have been a font or a large stoup. It is typical of such furnishing design in Brittany in the 16th and 17th centuries.
The present chapel is inventoried in Mérimée [ref. PA00089464 ] as 18th-century, without mention of remnants of the earlier building here. The GLAD portal [patrimoine.region-bretagne.fr/sdx/sribzh/main.xsp?execute=show_document&id=MERIMEEIA22010968] [accessed 31 May 2013], however, reports some components brought in from the anciel chapel here dedicated to the Holy Trinity ["Evidé de trois niches en plein-cintre abritant des statues en ronde-bosse provenant de l'ancienne chapelle de la Trinité [...] Elle est située à l'emplacement d'une chapelle figurant dès 1198 dans une bulle de confirmation des biens de l'abbaye de Saint-Riom. Elle fut cédée en 1202 à l'abbaye de Beauport et en devint prieuré-cure jusqu'à la Révolution. La croix du placître pourrait également dater de la fin du 17ème siècle."
