Minois (1977) reports the baptismal font at Boqueho as having had a cover supplied and some sort of railing installed in 1703, as a aresult of the "statuts des années 1690-1700 ordonnent de les couvrir et de les entourer d'une balustrade afin de les isoler du reste de l'église". Double-font made of granite; it consists of a main octagonal basin raised on an octagonal pedestal base, both plain, and a secondary basin, octagonal in and out, drained, raised on a round shaft with a moulding atop. There are a numbering of metal anchoring inserts related to an old cover, some of which have damaged the stone of the basin. The present metal cover is shaped like a low-dome, with pattern decoration and a Latin-cross finial; it may be early-18th century [cf. supra]. [NB: Palissy [ref.: PM22000030] lists the choir stalls in this church as 15th-century, originally from the Abbey of Beauport [http://patrimoine.region-bretagne.fr/sdx/sribzh/main.xsp?execute=show_document&id=PALISSYIM22005665] [accessed 8 March 2013]].
