Harrison (1920) reports a noteworthy "large square old font". The CRSBI (2008) entry for this church does not mention a font in it. The present font is noted in the Sussex Parish Churches site [www.sussexparishchurches.org/content/view/282/34/] [accessed 4 February 2013] as being square but modern, dating from the 19th century. [NB: we have not been able to confirm the whereabouts of the font reported in Harrison -- the original church probably dated from the late 12th century, but we have no information on its font].
