Harrison (1920) reports this church as "restored and enlarged in 1864", a Norman arch [west doorway] being the only trace of the original building. The present font is modern, of neo-Romanesque design, the basin and base made of different type and colour of stone. [BV: we have no information on the font from the medieval church here].
