The present font in the church is modern, probably of the 1861 or 1869 re-building of the original Early English church reported in Harrison (1920); the octagonal basin is decorated with quatrefoils in which runs the inscription: "Suffer little children [...]", raised on an octagonal pedestal base, a splaying lower base and a plinth, all octagonal as well [NB: we have no information on the font of the original church here].
