Aumüller (1998) notes that the present font in use is made of local marble [Villmarer Marmor] and dated 1722. There is however another object that appears to be a font (?) from the earlier church, perhaps from the original Romanesque church that was repleaced by the present one; the ocbject consists of a square basin with a round inner bowl, raised on a square pedestal base; it appears damaged and may be used as a holy-water stoup now.
