Noted and illustrated in the SHM’s database Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 940810F1] as a baptismal of the "regional verkstad / västsvensk typ", made of sandstone ca. 1200. Baptismal font made of sandstone in the Mälaren area; said to be from the 12th century. The font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a linked-circle interlace pattern all around the underbowl; the centre ring is a very thick rope moulding; the lower base is decorated with a pattern of linked scrolls all around, and a band of saw-totth at the bottom. The whole is raised on a modern circular plinth. No cover present nut a brass baptismal dish insert is now used to hold the baptismal water.
