Noted and illustrated in Hallbäck (1961) as baptismal font made of soapstone by masters Sven and Torbjör in the 12th century, with an off-centre drain hole. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 930707F3] as a baptismal font of the mid-12th century made of soapstone; the SHM points out that, although other fonts in the "Sven-Torbjörngruppen" have usually square basins this one probably belongs to the same group. The font consists of a bucket-shaped basin decorated with a well-rendered three-strand interlace pattern all around; raised on a plain slightly trapezoidal block; on a modern plinth, also quadrangular. No font cover present.
