The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 28 January 2021] notes: "La pila es románica, de vaso cuadrado con molduras." Baptismal font consisting of a plain quadrangular basin with rounded tapering sides, raised on a circular pedestal base with roll mouldings at both ends, and a plain small square plinth. One side of the basin has a metal staple at the upper rim, and the oopposite side shows evidence of having been repaired, probably of damage from the other staple there. [NB: we have received uncorroborated information that this font is not originally from this church, but was brought in from elsewhere -- no exact location or documentation available].
