Church Notes: the church here is mid-19th century, and there is no information on an earlier church, although nearby Betchworth Castle was built soon after the Conquest.

Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin with carved sides separated by columns at angles, raised on an octagonal pedestal base decorated with foliated motifs, on a round moulded lower base and an octagonal plinth. Probably Victorian, like the church itself. The wooden cover is round, flat and plain; modern. [NB: there is no evidence of an earlier church on this site].
