Noted and illustrated in Mémoire [www.culture.gouv.fr/public/mistral/memoire_fr] [accessed 4 August 2012] [ref.: APMH00024833]. The font is a later model of the medieval design common in the Picardie region, a basin framed in four outer colonnettes that reach the upper rim and extend down to the lower base; the style and decoration is much as in the font at Piennes and others of the region; in this case the upper rim of the square basin is castellated (frets pointing down), the side with human heads or faces on each side; the underbowl has busy deeply-carved foliage all around; the stem appears quadrangular, with scenes on each side, one of them appears to be the Baptism of Christ; moulded lower base with foliage motifs as well. Octagonal wooden cover, the upper domed; large foliated finial.
