Catalogued in Palissy [www.culture.gouv.fr/public/mistral/dapapal_fr?] [accessed 3 August 2012] [ref.: PM80000977] as a stone baptismal font of the 13th century. The design of this font includes a rounded basin in a quadrangular frame formed by four angle colonnettes, with some variants, like the other medieval fonts in the Somme at Bergicourt, Cerisy-Buleux, Faverolles, Fourcigny, Gentelles, Rouvrel, Wiry au Mont, etc. In this case the font has single columns at the angles, the capital decorated with large-leaf motif and a roll moulding at the base of the capital and at the base of the column; the font appears rectangular, rather than square, which gives the basin a slightly oval shape; it rests on a large plain quadrangular block. There appear to be two font covers: one is flat and plain; the other is pyramidal, perhaps metal, and appears to sit usually on top of the wooden one.
