The baptismal font of stone is of the type that has a cube-shaped frame with a rounded basin 'hanging' from it inside; on a short plinth, also quadrangular. The wooden cover has a frame affixed to the upper rim of the font, with the cover proper being removable to provide access to the basin interior, where a metal insert holds the baptismal water.
