Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM60003410] as a stone baptismal font of the 13th century; consists of a basin in the shape of a hexagonal capital, decorated with foliage motifs, raised on a cylindrical pedestal base; in poor state of conservation, the basin cracked; traces of paint on it; lead cover of the basin is lacking [="Liste de 1862 : fonts baptismaux, pierre du 13e siècle et piscine déversoir, pierre, 16e siècle [...] Fonts baptismaux composés d'un support cylindrique et d'une cuve accusant la forme d'un chapiteau hexagonal. [...] Cuve ornée de larges feuilles à cotes. [...] pierre taillé, peint (rouge), décor en relief [...] mauvais état Il manque le couvercle en plomb du bassin. Cuve fendue." The basin ends in a prominent moulding, and rests on a squat round base the bottom of which splays out; the whole is raised on a polygonal base and a quadrangular lower base; the whole looks makeshift, composite., and the basin upper rim is missing a large chunk. A later date baptismal font (?) stands near the old one and is catalogued in Palissy (ibid.) with reference PM60001003 as dating from the 16th century.
