The Victoria County History (Sussex, vol. 3, 1935) notes: "The church was built in the first half of the 13th century and restored in the 19th century. [...] The fittings are all modern." The VCH interior plan (ibid.) shows the modern font in the northwest corner of the nave. The building is no longer used for cult. In the English Heritage (List entry Number: 1181561). [NB: we have no information on the font of the 13th-century church here].
