Catalogued in Palissy [ref.: PM60001078] [www.culture.gouv.fr/public/mistral/dapapal_fr] [accessed 2 July 2012] as a stone baptismal font of the 15th century consisting of an octagonal basin raised on an octagonal base and square lower base; on three sides of the basin is a scene of the Baptism of Christ by John the Baptist in the presence of an angel holding Chirst's vestments; on the opposite side is a secen in which St. Marcou, dressed as an abbot and holding a crozier, lays his hand on a kneeling man; to the right is a double-tailed siren; there is a very damaged or eroded unidentified female figure; the inner basin has a removable tin lining with a double compartment; four cherubs decorate the angles of the lower base. There is a wooden cover on the font [= "Sur une base carrée et un pied octogonal, repose une cuve octogonale ornée de personnages en haut-relief. Un bassin amovible en étain est présent à l'intérieur de la cuve ; il possède deux compartiments. Un couvercle en bois (déposé) permet de fermer les fonts baptismaux. [...] Sur trois faces de la cuve figure le Baptême du Christ par saint Jean Baptiste en présence d'un ange tenant un vêtement. De l'autre côté, Saint Marcou (saint guérisseur des écrouelles et des scrofules) touche le cou d'un homme agenouillé et en prière devant lui. Il est représenté en abbé avec sa crosse. Une sirène à double queue de poisson (symbole du péché) sépare à droite les deux scènes mais la figure féminine présente sur la face opposée reste non identifiée en raison de son mauvais état de conservation. Des angelots occupent les 4 coins du pied. [...] 15e siècle"]
