Reported in English Heritage [cited in www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-143180-old-church-of-st-john-greatham] [accessed 15 June 2012] as the remaining chancel and ruined nave of the 13thC church here; the report notes "an old bowl" in the chancel, probably what remains of the medieval font. The new church, located across the road from the old ruins, dates from the mid-19th century, as does its modern font.
