Inventoried in Palissy [ref.: IM64000443]: " [...] grès [..] Evacuation centrale [...] h = 80 ; d = 108 (dimensions totales) ; cuve : pr intérieure = 42 ; bord : la = 18 [...] figure (tête : homme, barbe) ; représentation animalière (serpent) ; ornementation (billette, coquille, tête) [...] Couvercle et grille disparus ; visages bûchés [...] Ces fonts baptismaux, du 12e siècle (?), pourraient provenir de l'église Sainte-foi de Morlaas". The web site of the Parish [www.paroisse-morlaas.org/crbst_4.html] [accessed 4 May 2012] notes: "Les fonts baptismaux (bas-côté sud), d'une hauteur de 80 cm, sont en grès, avec décor sculpté en relief, et paraissent provenir de l'église Sainte-Foy de Morlaàs." Baptismal of the well-head type, cylindrical and unmounted, with a broad moulding at the upper rim, a thinner one around the middle; raised directly on a circular plinth.
