The Victoria County History (Huntingdon, vol. 2, 1932) notes: "The church, which is a chapelry to Southoe, appears to have been originally built in the 13th century [...] was completely restored in 1884 [...] The late 13th-century font is a plain octagon on an octagonal stem and a square base, and shows some signs of having been coloured."
