Noted and illustrated in the Meini Bywiol/Living Stones project [www.llansantffraidandllanfechain.org.uk/llansantffraid.pdf] [accessed 9 March 2012]; the font consists now of an egg-cup shaped basin decorated with a single flat and broad moulding at the upper rim, raised on a plain cylindrical shaft and a circular splaying lower base; on an octagonal plinth; only the basin is original, said to be of the 13th century, and was, until 1871 at least, on a different base, a set of three square volumes of different widths.
