There is no mention of a baptismal font in Stabb (1908-1916), who gives a detailed description of the church and suggests: "Sir Stephen de Haccombe, who lived in the reign of Henry III [1216-1272], [...] was who probably founded the original church. He is known to have been living in 1243, but the exact date of his death is uncertain"; his "recumbent effigy" is in the chancel of this church. The present baptismal font in this church consists of an octagonal basin with a rounded underbowl, raised on an octagonal pedestal base with a single moulding at the lower end; this is the only ornament on the whole font; raised on a plain square plinth. The wooden cover is round and flat, with a long handle; appears modern. The font is either modern, or an old one that has been recetly re-cut and re-tooled. [NB: we have no information on an earlier font in this church].
