[...] Apart from the porch and tower it was built in the 14th century [...] The church was lightly restored in 1882 [...] The registers begin in 1639." There is no mention of a font in the VCH entry for this church. The British Listed Buildings [www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-310939-church-of-st-michael-tidcombe-and-fosbur] [accessed 27 February 2012] entry for this church reports: "Font, simple conical limestone bowl date undetermined."
