Tub-shaped font now partially embedded in the west wall of the nave, near the stairs leading to the upper west gallery; it is a crude work without any apparent decoration, at least on the exposed area. David Ordóñez Castañón's Apuntes para la historia de la parroquia de San Miguel de Zurea y la desaparecida de San Julián del Valle [https://www.academia.edu/40408419/Apuntes_para_la_historia_de_la_parroquia_de_San_Miguel_de_Zurea_y_la_desaparecida_de_San_Julián_del_Valle] [accessed 24 November 2024] reports that the baptismal font was one of the elements repaired ["arreglos"] in 1861-1864.
