The entry for this rural chapel in the web site of the Ayuntamiento de Ólvega [http://www.olvega.es/ermita-de-san-marcos] [accessed 12 September 2025] mentions a font and a stoup in this rural chapel that may have been formerly the village church of the now abandoned hamlet of San Juan de Campiserrado: "La pila de agua bendita es un canecillo románico. Se conserva también una pila bautismal de piedra." The font is illustrated in Miguel Angel Garcia Franco [www.flickr.com/photos/respenda/3501198322/in/photostream/] [accessed 2 February 2012]: basin of a baptismal font located in the Ermita de San Marcos, located in the abandoned village known as San Juan de Campiserrado, in the municipality of Olvega; the object, which lies directly on the ground, appears square and totally devoid of ornamentation; it is not in use as baptismal vessel and appears to serve as planter now.
