Font Notes:
An odd-looking holy-water stoup made of course granite and located on the south side of the nave, somewhat similar to the baptismal font designs of the 16th and 17th century in Brittany, France; it consists of a pedestal that is quadrangular at the top, round in the middle and octagonal at the base; from the top stem two basins: the one on the north side is quadrangular and appears to have been damaged or altered; its sides are plain but its underbowl is moulded; the basin on the south side is round, of a conical shape, inverted, the wide side at the top; the sides have deeply-carved mouldings and a row of large ball motifs; a similar pattern of decoration, with mouldings and ball motifs, appears on the lower half of the stem that serves both basins. It is a very unusual object, and the double-basin desing quite a rarety in this part of Spain.
