Listed and illustrated in Palissy [ref.: PM08000279] [www.culture.gouv.fr/public/mistral/palissy_fr] [accessed 15 January 2012] with date in the 12th century; three of the human heads that decorate the basin at 90-degree angles are damaged, only one remaing whole; on the sides, between the heads, typical lion heads with palm leaf vegetation issuing from their mouths; on a modern broad octagonal pedestal base. The wooden cover is round and plain, with a cross finial; rudimentary and probably modern.
