Baptismal font consisting af an octagonal basin with rounded sides and underbowl; the upper sides are decoarted with large human heads; raised on a moulded octagonal pedestal base and a plinth of the same shape; scratched on the underbowl side is the date 1564, presumably the date when the font was made. This is a crude work made of the dark limestone of the region; the carved heads are rather flat and crude, unlike the ones found in many fonts of the same area and period. Listed in Palissy [ref.: PM08000157]: "fonts baptismaux [...] marbre (noir) [...] Cuve de forme octogonale, ornée de quatre faces humaines [...] Date : 1564 (sur une des faces de la cuve)." [NB: we have no information on the font from the earlier church here].
