Font Notes:
Modern baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin of dark marble raised on clustered columns and an octagonal lower base; on a flat octagonal plinth; both also of black marble. The metal font cover is octagonal pyramidal, with a tabernacle-like lower part; suspended from a pulley; also modern. [NB: we have no information of an earlier font here].
