Font Notes:
Composite baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin decorated with four human heads at 90-degree angles, the underbowl rounded and plain; raised on a plain cylindrical stem; both probably 15th or 16th-century; the lower base or plinth belongs to an earlier font, Romanesque, perhaps of the 12th century, while the basin and stem are probably 15th or 16th century. The lower base is square, made to take a base with a broad central shaft and four angle colonnettes.
