The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 23 August 2021] notes: "Su templo parroquial, dedicado a la Inmaculada Concepción, es gótico [...] con restos románicos [...] la portada es románica, de medio punto con arquivoltas lisas [...] La pila es románica con arcos incisos superficiales y pie cilíndrico". Baptismal font of the date of the original church itself, probably the late-12th or early-13th century.
