The present is modern, probably of the 18th century, consisting of an octagonal basin decorated with stylised geometric renditions of the old acanthus motifs; plain and rounded underbowl; raised on a pedestal made up of a cluster of four torsade colonnettes, on a plain square lower base; the inner well of the basin is divided into compartments. It has an interesting wooden cover, also modern; it consists of a vertical back-pane that simulates a triptich; to it is hinged a plain pentagonal flat cover over the basin. [NB: we have no information on the medieval font of this church]
