No entry for Sunninghill found in the Domesday survey. The Victoria County History (Berkshire, vol. 3, 1923) notes: "The advowson of the church of Sunninghill was granted by King John in 1200 to the nuns of Bromhall [...] The church was entirely rebuilt of brick [...] in the years 1807 and 1827, and the chancel, vestry, and south chapel were added in the year 1888." There is no mention of a font in the VCH entry." [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here].
