Font Notes:
The present [November 2011] font at this church is modern, of stone, an octagonal basin with large round marble (?) inserts in each side; raised on a broad central column and eight outer colonnettes, the latter of the garish marble comnbinations faboured in Victorian font design and with ornate capitals and bases. Flat octagonal wooden cover, also modern. [NB: the fabric of the church goes back to ca. 1200, but we have no information of the medieval font here].
