Font Notes:
A roughly hemispherical vessel displayed in the gardens of the Hierapolis Örenyeri Müzesi bears a label that identifies it as a Byzantine baptismal font of the 5th century. It is now raised on a modern pedestal, but it is not known whether it originally had a base.
