There is an entry for Seacourt [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SP4807/seacourt/] [accessed 2 June 2015], but it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. The Victoria County History (Berkshire, vol. 4, 2011] notes: "The church of Seacourt was in existence in the year 1200 [...] At some time before 1396 the church must have been appropriated to the priory and a vicarage ordained. [...] In 1439 the vicarage was pronounced to be 'without cure' on the ground that the church had collapsed and that there were only two inhabited houses." [NB: we have no information on the medieval font here].
