The Victoria County History (Hampshire, vol. 5, 1912) notes: "In the centre of the south wall of the nave is a stone sundial [...] It probably dates from the 13th century. [...] The chancel of the original church was apparently replaced by the present chancel about 1880. [...] The octagonal panelled font appears to be of late 16th or early 17th-century date." The entry for this church in Historic England [English Heritage Legacy ID: 144788] notes: "Former parish church, now serving as a chapel to Winchester College. [...] C15 stone font has octagonal bowl carved with quatrefoils, a cylindrical stem and a moulded octagonal base. [...] Holy water stoup adjacent to door." [NB: we have no information on the medieval font of this church].
