Font Notes:
Described in the Palissy database [www.culture.gouv.fr/public/mistral/palissy_fr] [accessed 26 August 2011] [réf.: IM40003306]: holy-water stoup made of limestone and dated perhaps in the 17th century; consists of an egg-shaped basin raised on a plain cylindrical pedestal base; the stoup is plain except for a circle on the side, which the catalogue suggests may have been originally intended to house a painted motif, perhaps armorial. The same source reports a modern baptismal font in this church ["partie non étudiée] [NB: we have no information on the original font of this church, probably 15th-century, like the fabric of the building itself].
