The Victoria County History (Hampshire, vol. 3, 1908) notes: "The earliest details [of the present church] belong to 1150–60 [...] The font is modern, of twelfth-century design, with a square bowl on a central and four angle pillars." [NB: we have no information on the medieval font of this church].
