There is an entry for Ringwood [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SU1405/ringwood/] [accessed 18 September 2018]; it mentions "1 church. 0.5 church lands" in it. The Victoria County History (Hampshire, vol. 4, 1911) notes: "The church of Ringwood is mentioned in the Great Survey. The church of St. Peter and St. Paul is a large modern structure built upon the site of an older one in 1853 [...] At the south-east of the chancel is a large double piscina of late 12th-century date". There is no mention of a font in the VCH entry (ibid.) or in the entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SP1523004800]. [NB: we have no information on the font from the medieval church here].
