There are two entries for Damerham [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SU1015/damerham/] [accessed 18 September 2018], neither of which mentions cleric or church in it. The entry for this parish in the Victoria County History (Hampshire, vol. 4, 1911) notes: "The lower part of the tower seems to be the oldest part of the church and dates from c. 1130, and there was probably an aisleless nave of this date equal in width to the present nave. A north transept balancing the tower may also have existed. A north aisle was added later in the 12th century, and in the 13th the chancel was perhaps rebuilt and a south aisle added to the nave [...] The font is modern, octagonal with sunk quatrefoils in the sides". The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SU0935916244] mentions no font in it. [NB: we have no information on the medieval font here]
