The Palissy database [www.culture.gouv.fr/documentation/memoire] [réf. Palissy IM40000793] notes that the funrnishings of this church date chiefly from the second half of the 19th century. The Palissy entry for the veined-marble stoup in the west end of the nave of this church [Ref. Palissy IM40000786] is dated there to the first half of the 19th century. The church itself is listed in the Mérimée database [réf. Mérimée IA40001314] and dated originally to the 12th century, the apse fortified in the 15th century, and with two modern restorations in 1883-1885 and 1860. The present baptismal font is modern and consists of a plain hemispherical basin raised on a wooden pedestal base; it is located at the east end of the nave, on the south side (height 102 cm; outer diameter of basin 80 cm) [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church]
