The church is listed in the database Mérimée [www.culture.gouv.fr] [réf.: IA40000806], with the choir and naveprobably of the 15th or 16th century, likely contemporary with the portal, which is dated 1542. The Palissy database [www.culture.gouv.fr] notes the holy-water stoup located inside, by the entrance [réf.:IM40000527], an oval basin raised on a rounded baluster-shaped base and a square lower base, with date in the 18th century. A baptismal font is included in the Palissy entry for the furnishings of this church [Réf. Palissy IM40000544], but there is no mention of its date. On-ste notes: the present font consists of a rounded basin with a pronounced moulding towards the upper end, raised on a fluted pedestal base and a moulded lower base; modern. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original church here].
