On-site notes: plain tub-shaped baptismal font, probably of the 12th century; the upper rim is damaged in some areas, but still shows the drilled holes for the cover hardware; the font is no longer in use; located at the west end of the south aisle. [NB: the Palissy dabase [www.culture.gouv.fr/public/mistral/palissy_fr] [référence IM16000400] lists a limestone monolithic baptismal font of the 12th century shaped like a square capital. That object is actually a holy-water stoup, listed in this Index as Sauvignac No. 2 -- unable to find an entry for this font in Palissy]
